Aarif Lee (born Aarif Rahman on 26 February 1987) is an actor and Cantopop singer from Hong Kong. After singing "普通朋友" (lit. "Only Friends") at a gathering, he was signed by Alvin Wang and Leon Lai of East Asia Record Production and became one of the new artists in 2009. Lee also won "Best New Performer" at the 29th Hong Kong Film Awards in 2010, for his performance in Echoes of the Rainbow.

Aarif Lee was born in Hong Kong, the youngest of three siblings. His father is of Malay-Arab-Cantonese ancestry, while his mom is a Hongkonger.[1] His father owns a cleaning company, and they reside in Sai Kung. He grew up in Hong Kong and attended King George V School, of which he was the Head Boy from 2004-2005. He was also the classmate of Leslie Tam 譚焌釗 from Asian Millionstar 3. After graduating from KGV, he attended Imperial College London to study Physics for three years. Before entering University, he had already signed a contract with Amusic; however, he completed his education before returning to Hong Kong to become an artist of Amusic.
On 15 November 2011, Amusic confirmed that Lee failed a breathalyser test and was arrested for driving under the influence hours after he performed at a concert.[2]On 13 December, he admitted his offense at the Kwun Tong Magistrate and was fined HK$6,000 and has his driving license suspended for six months.[3]
